As a school psychologist I was blessed to work with many families. I love helping people connect and reach their goals, so I created many family activities. One of them was a family goal book (download here)!
Have you completed a family goal book before?
For me personally setting goals helps keep me on track. I have so many things going on at once that I often forget some of the things I want to accomplish. Setting family goals can help you reconnect and focus your energy on a shared desire. Pick something you want to accomplish together. Some examples:
- Have a family game night once a week
- Eat dinner together 3 times a week
- Read 3 books together by the end of the month
- Plan a family vacation
The most important part of this activity is to have fun and enjoy time together. Don’t stress if you don’t accomplish your goal in the first week. Instead celebrate being together!
