So many things have been happening in our house hold lately and sometimes it’s a little overwhelming. As you may know we are expecting baby number two, moving and selling our house. I also started teaching for Indiana Wesleyan University as an online adjunct professor. I am loving the opportunity to teach and use my background in psychology, but it is surely keeping me busy. We are excited for the changes that are coming to our family.
I’ve been thinking of writing a post about selling your house with a toddler. Has anyone ever done this? It is a lot of work. Thankfully, I have some awesome friends and family who helped us declutter and gave us some great tips for house showings. I will surely write more about the selling experience soon. We have also been looking for a house. We lost two houses already to other bidders. It is somewhat frustrating, but I also have an odd peace about it.
As you may know I am an emotional person. I cry somewhat easily and can be easily moved. My husband and I were talking last night about how crazy it is I haven’t cried about this adventure with selling and buying a house. Especially being pregnant! The only thing I can credit is God. He is so faithful and we are trusting that He will provide the house where he wants our family to grow in. I’m resting on His promises and as I said I have a peace about it. Maybe that will change if we continue to lose houses and this process drags on. But for now I am thankful! My husband is on vacation for the next two weeks and we are celebrating. Celebrating life, God’s goodness and the blessings He has already given us.
