I had so much fun decorating Izzy’s nursery before she was born. It gave me something to do while I waited the 10 months for her arrival. I can’t wait until we move next week so I can start on our baby boy’s nursery. When my cousin’s baby was born I made these baby animal nursery prints for her. I think I may use them in our baby boy’s nursery as well. I may need your help to decide which color to use!
If you saw my post on Monday, you know I am using a super soft and cozy Burt’s Bees Baby quilt as part of our boy’s bedding. His room in the new house is a medium gray color so we decided to keep it and design around it. I’m thinking we will use cloud blue, navy blue, gray and accents of walnut and white furniture.

We decided to go with the Babyletto Scoot Crib (see below). I love the dark walnut stain on the rails. We also purchased an old wooden dresser from a re-use it store and my husband is currently sanding and staining it to match the crib. Hopefully we can put up a post on that soon!
So to get back to the baby animal nursery prints. I created an elephant and giraffe print with navy, white and gray as well as cloud, white and gray. Should I stick to the cloud color to match the bedding? Then I would skip the navy all together. Or should I add navy as an additional accent color to a medium/cloud blue? Leave me a comment below with your advice. I’d love to hear about the colors in your baby’s nursery!
