Summer is my favorite season! I love swimming, BBQs, feeling the warmth of the sun and playing outside with Izzy. I also think I have an obsession with clothes shopping for our daughter. There are too many cute girl’s clothes out there and I have a hard time resisting. Did you know Garnet Hill has a kid’s line of clothing? We love their summer styles because they include breezy dresses and colorful, bright prints. Their outfits are perfect for any summer adventure with your little girl.

I’ve noticed not many people put their toddler daughters in dresses. Personally, I love when Izzy wears dresses. She has no problem running, jumping or climbing in them. I think they are feminine, fun and adorable. I had my eye on the Garnet Hill Mexicana Embroidered Cotton Dress for a while and I was so excited to review it. I had a hard time choosing which color to order, I loved all three choices. The details on the clothing are my favorite. I love the pom-pom trim sleeves and hem as well as the side pockets. Izzy typically wears a size 3 in clothing and the size 3 seemed to fit well. She will be able to wear this dress throughout the summer.

I cannot believe we move in exactly one week! One thing I am looking forward to is spending time at my grandparent’s pool. Both Izzy and I love to swim. She took swim lessons indoors in the spring, but there is something about swimming outdoors. It’s so fresh and fun. Last week we got out Izzy’s water table and she loved splashing and playing. The Seaside Cotton Cover-Up was perfect for this outdoor activity. It kept the sun off her shoulders and worked as a great swim cover-up. Again, how cute are the pom-pom sleeves? The A-line shape seems to work best with Izzy’s shape and again the size 3 fit her well.
