Baby Bluum Box Review

bluum box review, baby product reviews

I love checking the mail. I’m not sure what it is because most of the time it’s bills, but I always hope for some kind of ‘fun’ mail. So we were very excited for our first Bluum box to arrive. Bluum is a monthly subscription service for moms and babies. It’s a fun way to try new products and sample items geared toward your baby’s age and gender. We received our box for a 10 month old baby girl. I loved that the box was geared toward summer time fun. Here is a breakdown of the products inside:

Bluum Box Review – 10 month old girl

  • 1 kind bar – for mommy! ($1.50)
  • 1 jar of beechnut baby food ($1-1.50)
  • 1 purple prairie organic unstick ($13)
  • 1 original flap happy hat ($12)
  • 1 pair baby banz sunglasses ($14)
  • Total retail value = Approximately $42

With the Bluum box you can pick from a few monthly plans. The 1 month plan starts at $29 and the 3 month plan is $25 a month. In the box we received, our products were valued higher than the monthly subscription price. I can see why many moms love getting these surprise packages in the mail! I enjoyed the kind bar set aside for mommy and we were excited to try the all natural suntan lotion. We didn’t have baby sunglasses for Izzy so the baby banz were a perfect addition to our fun in the sun time.

The downside of subscription boxes like Bluum is you can’t predict what you will receive or the sizes of the items. Our baby girl is big for her age so unfortantely the size small flap happy hat didn’t fit her head. I was excited we didn’t have any of the products in this particular box. However, I can see where some moms receive items they already have and don’t need at the time. Even with these minor drawbacks, it was a fun experience and our baby girl enjoyed opening the package.

What items do you recommend for summer time fun?

  1. Very interesting. I’d never really thought about doing one. I like that it’s geared toward the season and so specific to the individual baby!
